ALMOST DONE!
3/2/24

Hello, Everyone!

As I plan it now - tho original plans have been modified a lot –
dealing with my SONGS OF A SOLITARY SOUL in 7 volumes,
I intend to record the final 5 songs I have written since
Nancy and I came together in 2012 tomorrow.
My original plan was to complete it by Easter - March 31st -
but I have hurried the process and expect to complete recording
my singing my final songs tomorrow - March 3rd.
I had 33 songs to record and split them up between 2 volumes -
a volume 6 and a volume 7.
I finished Volume 6 which contained 16 songs
last week and probably will finish Volume 7 tomorrow.
Volume 7 will contain 17 songs - 12 down and only 5 to go.

My friends, Chris and Rich, helped me out with 3 of my songs,
assisting with Nancy's piano by Chris and guitar by Rich.
Thanks so much, Chris and Rich, for the assistance.
Chris and Rich, if you want to help with the final 5,
let me know by 9 A.M. tomorrow.
By 10, I will be on my way. By 4, I will be done.

I must say it has been a lot of fun for me to do it -
and I hope it appeals to some.
I would not have done it if my Dear Nancy had not passed,
but her passing is what has driven me to do it -
because I think she would have loved it.

For what it's worth, here is a list of the final 5:
1. WISE AS A SERPENT AND
INNOCENT AS A DOVE - written 6/16/2017
2. HOME - written 8/24/2017 and 8/28/2017
3. WITH A SONG IN MY HEART - written 9/26/2017
4. CHILD OF THE LIVING ONE - written 11/1/2018
5. NEW WORLD COMING - written 4/25/2020 & 5/23/2020

That will only be my recording of songs.
It may take a week or more to fit them all in in a Volume 7 master,
but the initial recording part of it via my VHS camcorder
may be done tomorrow.
There will be a lot more to do create a finished DVD master,
but I won't go into that.

There is a lot more to go,
but I do expect it will all be done and available
on my francisbessler.com website
by March 27th, my younger brother, Bob's, 81st birthday.
Onward! Get ready, Bob! There will be a lot
you will not like, but hopefully some of it will be alright.
No one can please everyone, but everyone can begin
by pleasing themselves.
In the end, One is a whole lot better than None.
Right?

Gently,

Francis William Bessler (Frank, Will)
