IT'S A NEW DAY!
11/12/2020

Hello, Everyone!

Last weekend, I was spending some time in
The Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, Colo.
Nancy and I were there for Nancy to undergo a medical procedure
that should help her heart perform better in the future.
Anyway, while waiting on this or that service from the
wonderful staff of The Medical Center of the Rockies,
I chose to fetch one of my books from the trunk of my car,
but only had two from which to fetch, so to speak.
One is called WILD FLOWERS and the other is one I called
IT'S A NEW DAY. Since I have already reviewed WILD FLOWERS
in the recent past, if I were to read something of my own,
all I had left was IT'S A NEW DAY.

So, for several days while Nancy was being treated
and while I sat nearby watching her sleep, for the most part,
I proceeded to read - or review - my book, IT'S A NEW DAY.
Upon leaving The Medical Center of the Rockies,
when we did on Monday, I gave the copy I had been reading
to the staff of The Medical Center of the Rockies via their ICU
where Nancy had been treated for surplus blood in her heart
on the preceding Friday. I asked the ICU to share the copy
I left them with anyone in the staff who might find it interesting.

As I gave away a copy to The Medical Center of the Rockies,
Nancy and I will give a copy to anyone of you on my lists
who wants one. Just ask and you will receive -
or you can order a copy on your own. You can order a copy
by entering my name, Francis Bessler, in an online search bar
such as Amazon and browse till you find what you want
or you can link to it via my writings website - una-bella-vita.com.
OK?

For what it's worth, I really like IT'S A NEW DAY,
but, of course, that is probably because I am very familiar
with the contents since I wrote it; but my prejudice aside,
"it's a truly wonderful read!" LOL! Give it a shot if you like;
but be careful, it might be a bit challenging for offering
some different ideas about life and its meaning.
In general, it is composed of original essays and songs,
written from 2006-2017, though it does feature earlier songs
I wrote back in the '70s and '80s too.

Enough for now.
I will leave you with the title song I wrote for the book.
If you do not like what's in the song - or poem -
that should tell you that
you won't care for what's in the book, either.
As I like to say, to each, his or her own.
Indeed, that is the way it often is -
and it's also the way it should be.
Agree?

Thanks!

As Nancy would say,
Love to you All!

Bye for now! Be in touch!

Gently,

Francis William Bessler and
supportive wife, Nancy Shaw

Look around and notice what you see -

not what you believed.

It's a new day!

Pay attention to the life that is here

and know that Heaven is not only there.

It's a new way!

The time is now to appreciate

the mystery of life.

There is no better time than now

to embrace what's right.

It's a new day!

Open your heart and eyes

to love the wonder that is you.

It's a new day!

Be aware we're all the same

and in each of us, there is the truth.

It's a new way!

The truth is that

we are all a reflection of The Divine;

and that's exactly why

we should know our lives are fine.

It's a new day!

The world is the same

as it has always been.

There is nothing new -

there has never been any sin.

Our only sin has been

to see life as ill

and then treat ourselves

as part of the deal.

Let's take off the shroud

in which we've been enclosed.

It's a new day!

The Light of God

is in All exposed.

It's a new way!

There is nothing new

under our shining, glorious Sun.

We're all Children of the Light

and knowing that should be our fun.

It's a new day!

FINISH:

Yes, indeed,

let's practice a New Way -

because it is a New Day!

Yes, it is a New Day!
