SEVEN YEARS AND COUNTING!
3/10/2019

Hello, Everyone!

Just to take a moment and say that around this time in March of 2012,
Nancy and I started to live together. Her husband of over 30 years,
and a good friend of mine, Joce, passed on Feb. 29th, 2012 -
and after we celebrated Joce's more than 88 years of life,
Nancy asked me to move in. She asked me to move in over a cup of fee
coffee at her dining room table. I said "Yes" - and that was that.

I know we officially married on April 28th, 2018 - 6 years after that - but we have considered ourselves married since March of 2012. After all, isn't living together the same as being married if it is a marriage that is conducted? To get the families together for a celebration of our
union, we officially married at Trinity Lutheran Church here in Laramie on April 28th of last year, but we had really "been married" since I
I moved in with Nancy in March of 2012.

Anyway, we think it is worth noting. I am reminded of a country song
of the '50s that stated "I'll never get out of this world alive" - and at
Nancy's age of 86 and my age of 77, we are reminded of that. Friends
are passing all the time and we are constantly reminded that we are all
living on temporal time, so to speak. That time will end for each of us
as we pass forward to another life - if there is such a thing - and we both believe there is.

So, as Nancy & I Celebrate what we have while we have it,
let us remind all of you long married folk - and newly marrieds too -
that Life is Worth Living as long we are Aware it is truly a Blessing.
We do Believe that. We may not know how it comes along or
where it may be going, but the Miracle of Life is obvious to All
who pay attention to Wonder of it All! Don't you agree?

And most importantly, GOD IS IN IT ALL! We think that is an essential.
Nothing happens by itself - and that includes Life. As we see it,
Life is a Gift from God - even though we do not know exactly what
God is. We do not need to know what God is to know that we Owe
what we have to that Mysterious Benefactor. Do we?

Have A Good One! And Come and See us when you can!

As Nancy says, Love to you All!

Gently,
