HAPPY NEW YEAR - WITH A PICTORIAL!

Hello, Everyone!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I ended last year by completing my planned DVD pictorial of 2023 in terms of finishing an mp4 digital copy of it that I uploaded to a company – Bold Pixels – that I’m engaging to try and promote by Divine Naturist works. Those works are a combination of books and video productions that my late wife, Nancy, encouraged me to make available. Who knows where any of that is going to go – but at least something is “out there,” so to speak, that attempts to offer a vision of life that sees life as Divine because An Infinite God must be IN it, not outside of it as so much religion claims?

I am calling that slight DVD production by a name of CELEBRATING LIFE – TO THE END & BEYOND. Hopefully you can find it in the video portion of my francisbessler.com website by the end of January – or hopefully sooner, by mid January.

As you probably know, my Dear Wife, Nancy, passed from chronic heart failure at our home at the age of 90 on November 1, 2023. My video is not much, but for the most part, it is a friends & family pictorial of Nancy’s last year – including her last days surrounded by family and a few friends and nursing aids. We were fortunate to have the Hospice of Laramie and Home Instead attend Nancy in her last days. Thanks to both of them for their wonderful care. We appreciate it. By “we,” I mean Nancy’s daughter, Debbie, Nancy’s son, Mark, Nancy’s sister, Dottie (and husband, Don), and, your truly - all present in the house for her passing.

Having said that, sorry I did not do a better job recording this past year. At least I think I did a rather poor job of it – mostly because my camera had seen its better days and, among other things, the flash was not working very well. Thus, I blew it, so to speak.

Be that as it may, I am choosing to share my year of 2023 in the DVD pictorial (1 hr, 15 min long) of mention. Like I often told my Dear Nancy when I did poorer than I might have – Hey, it’s better I did something because nothing would have been a whole lot worse. And so, I am glad I did something and did not settle for nothing. If you agree, set back and enjoy my efforts for what they are worth.

I will warn you, though. My pictorial is more than just pictures. It is dubbed with original songs I recorded with a few friends in the ‘80s when I lived in and around Atlanta, Georgia. Like I said, I had – and have – a vision of life I call “Divine Naturism.” That is only to say that I believe that all of Nature must be Divine simply because An Infinite God must be IN it – again, not outside of it to be reached by some and omitted by others. Sorry! That idea that God can be for some and not others just does not fly with me.

So, in the ‘80s, I decided I needed to produce an audio cassette series that applied the God in All notion. I called my effort –
MASTER OF YOUR OWN FATE. It was – and is – a mixture of original song and commentary. I was lucky to find a few professional musicians to help me out. Thanks, Gary James and Jackie Audrey? – to name two of six musicians that helped me. Gary was also my producer and Jackie was my main singer.

That’s it for now. Time to get on with a new year. Right? I will leave you with a song I wrote a few years back I named Can The House of God Be Divided?

I have written lots of songs in life that have helped me deal with various notions or issues of life. It sure has helped me a lot in life to deal with it in song. I will include a second song, too, that very much captures the sentiment of one spouse losing another and looking back – just as I am doing with Nancy – and my sister-in-law, Pat, is doing with Denny. You see, my 82 year old brother, Denny, passed on April 24, 2023 from lung disease. My pictorial captures some of family around that time too. Anyway, my song below, reminiscing about remembering a lost one, is called Endless You! Enjoy it as you can! Alright?

Be in touch as you wish. Enjoy my songs below and my DVD pictorial via my website francisbessler.com – if I am successful in having it added to my website. OK? Nancy has gone physically, but by no means, spiritually. We will go on! I am so glad we had “a few good years” together. Nancy asked me to move in with her shortly after her husband, Joce, passed on February 29th, 2012 from Parkinsons Disease at the age of 88. Joce and I were good friends. I guess he left Nancy in my care – and, in fact, I did care for her for almost a dozen years.

Thanks, Nancy!
Like my song in my slight pictorial says – GO IN PEACE!

All My Love,

Francis William (Frank, Will) Bessler

CAN THE HOUSE OF GOD
BE DIVIDED?
A Song or Poem

Note:
Consider this to be a mixture of poem for the verses
and song for the refrain.
The Jesus of reference is mostly from “gospels”
by apostles Thomas and Mary Magdalene,
banned by the church that was in the 4th Century –
probably for their “solitary worth” sense of salvation.
These gospels may appeal to you
like they do to me.
If so, I deal a lot with them in my works.
If interested, see websites
una-bella-vita.com and francisbessler.com

REFRAIN:
Can the house of God be divided?
Can it be split in two?
Is it possible for God to be on one side
and missing from the other’s view?
If the house of God cannot be divided,
then this is the story, friends,
you are in the house of God;
and that house can never end.

A long, long time ago,
Jesus said, Heaven’s everywhere.
He said that the Kingdom’s spread upon the earth
though men don’t seem to care.
Don’t be fooled, he said,
if others claim it’s here or there.
Just open your eyes and heart
and look around and be aware.
Refrain.

Jesus said, if Heaven’s up above,
then the birds will precede you.
He said, if it’s in the sea,
the fish will get there before you do.
But the Kingdom’s inside of you, he said,
and also outside, it’s true.
Just know that you’re a son of God
and be delighted with the view.
Refrain.

So many think that God
belongs to only some;
but we’re all God’s children
and that means God belongs to everyone.
Some believe that when they die,
they will see God face to face;
but God’s not a person with eyes and ears.
It’s simply a Presence that’s everyplace.
Refrain.

You can’t divide the Infinite
for how can you divide what has no ends?
If you think you can divide what has no middle,
tell me how it can be done, my friend.
In truth, no one can lose God
because Infinite Division is an impossible deed.
If God cannot be separated from anything,
then God must be present in thee.
Refrain.

ENDING:
Yes – in life – as in death –
and as in any life that may proceed,
if God cannot be separated from anything,
then God will always be present in thee.

ENDLESS YOU
A Song or Poem

I go up our mountain –
climbing my way to the top.
I enjoy the sights we knew –
when our love was so hot.
And though I know I’m all alone –
I think you’re sharing the view
because, My Dear, you will always be –
the same endless you.

The kids and I look back upon –
the times we had so keen.
We enjoy the times we were –
together as a team.
Memories serve to bond us still –
united so in truth
because, My Dear, you will always be –
the same endless you.

How wonderful life was when you –
were dancing here with us.
We sure did skip to the beat –
of embracing life in trust.
And now I know that what we were –
in you will ensue
because, My Dear, you will always be –
the same endless you.

I thank you, Dear, for being here –
when you could share your life.
And what a life you shared with us –
every day and night.
We miss you but we know you’re free –
and shining like the moon
because, My Dear, you will always be –
the same endless you.

So, My Dear, continue on –
and take our love along.
Take out those fiddles where you are –
and sing our worthy song.
Kick up those heels and dance a jig –
we trust that you will do
because, My Dear, you will always be –
the same endless you.

I go up our mountain –
climbing my way to the top.
I enjoy the sights (sides?) we knew –
when our love was so hot.
And though I know I’m all alone –
I think you’re sharing the view
because, My Dear, you will always be –
the same endless you.
